i don't need to defend myself. i fell asleep.
this has nothing to do with my blogging anniversary, but i wanted to make "least favorite" lists. i have no idea why, but i thought i could maybe enlighten some of my veteran readers on things that they haven't yet heard my opinions on.... a-like so.....
least favorite number sequence:
4 8 15 16 23 42--never have any numbers creeped me out AND frustrated me simultaneously as much as the aforementioned. give me two weeks and i'm going to start repeating them in my sleep.

least favorite, and ironically most favorite, children book concepts:
1. Sidney Slug Gets a Salt Bath.
2. The Day that Andy Played Motorway Hopscotch.
3. Kathy Was So Bad that Her Mom Stopped Loving Her.
wipe that appalled look off of your face. THAT is humor!
least favorite kitchen utensil/luxury:
the terrifying garbage disposal--i feel i need to explain this. some girl played a sick joke on me when i was 12 about having a mechanical hand because she said that hers was chopped off in a garbage disposal. it really was this weird creepy, robotic looking contraption that she shoved up her sleeve and was operating with her FULLY attached left hand. to this day, if i have to reach down into one to grab a spoon, my heart races.
least favorite city in the UK:
chester.
that infamous day and that ill-tempered elderly woman has embittered me towards chester forever.
least favorite day of the year:
sweetest day.
i don't even have the will, motivation, or strength to look up what the actual date for this day is. it doesn't deserve a google search or internet hit. if you're american, you know that this holiday has nonsensically (if that's a word) been made up to try and flood an already oversaturated country with consumerism.
least favorite day of the week:
tuesday.
WHAT is the use of a tuesday, really? it's not a fresh start to the week, it's not the hump in the week, it's not almost weekend thursday, or any weekend day. tuesday, no offense, but you depress me.

Ok, ok, work with me here Brittney.
First of all, in the part where you rant about garbage disposals, do you mean sleeve instead of sleep??
Please tell me you do, otherwise do I need my head looking at?
Also, refresh me on the old lady, I get a slight touch of de ja vu, but the fairies won't let on completely.
Happy blog anniversary, may the future continue to be inspiring for you both.
HA! one big HA to that.....
those numbers confuse the crap outta me too.....
you make me laugh hon ;)
sid rat-tat-tat-tat--
yeah...i meant sleeve. thank goodness for the blogger "edit."
and as for the old lady, she yelled at sarah for having her foot KIND of on a seat on the train and made her cry. NO ONE MAKES SARAH CRY.
i was angry the whole day.
Thanks for clearing that up, golly golly gumdrops, I was close to another episode there for a second or two.
Someone did that to Sarah?!
How dare it. Notice emphasis on "it".
All old people are "its".
Ask Sarah if she wants IT taken care of...
It can happen...
I have contacts...
Could you explain the numbers pretty please?
I may be cool, but at the end of the day I'm just a sid raT, and numbers may not be what I'm totally cut out for...
Sweetest Day info courtesy of Wikipedia:
"The holiday is said to have begun in the city of Cleveland, Ohio in 1922. During America's Great Depression, candy store employee Herbert Birch Kingston put together a group of citizens to provide small gifts to homeless people, orphans, and others who had fallen on hard times. This tradition now seems to largely involve giving small presents, such as cards, candy and flowers, to family, friends, and lovers."
So, this holiday you rag on started out of the goodness of Mr. Kingston's heart...and in your home state. Ouch.
:)
It really is insanity on this here blog. Is it any particular andy you envisage playing motorway hopscotch? Just wondering whether I should start practising...
hum...
wish i could write as funny random things as your last post.
actually i have quite a large number of jumpers for a guy. however i do have favourites (although you musn't let the others know that) and right now they happen to be stripey ones.
i hope this clears things up for you, and i hope that your lip has cleared up too. i promise i will try to expand my horizons in the future.
hopefully not as far as chester though.
well i appreciate your cryptic nature, especially when stripy jumpers are concerned.
have you considered that this is a very strange way of communicating? aah well... soon we will have all of the same thoughts so i guess it wont be so necessary.
