i know that my post have been....delayed to say the least, but with things leading up to russia, things on my mind, and little material to work with--i guess the blog got placed on the backburner for a bit. but at the threat of maurice, who says that i HAVE to update it so he knows what's going on in my life, i reckon i'll start to use it as an avenue of staying in touch (sort of) once again.

so while i have a lot to say about russia, that post will have to wait for a couple of days because i only feel it fair to give credit to the man who has been waiting around for me for 6 months. my boyfriend, john-mark--you may call him johnny, JD, jams, jammies, or J--but he'd probably only answer to johnny.

::cue the dating game music::

john-mark hails from southwest england in a quaint little town called taunton that everyone has heard of, but no one has actually visited. he enjoys gadgets, mostly music of the acoustic variety, films--even very apparently bad ones, pajama bottoms, the beach, jesus, 2 pairs of socks, greggers (his car), pandas, and the M5.

he's been a toy designer for the past year but is ending his toy-making days on tuesday of this coming week. but rest assured that he's got a bright future ahead, ladies and gents. he's got skills in media, IT stuff, and design. what can't he do??? well, he's not too good at browning minced meat, but he's willing to learn...and that counts for a lot.

he takes care of me by buying me ice cream and helping me finish it when i can't bare to let it sit and melt and he gives me piggybacks through muddy areas when we take walks.

and i get to spend atleast 3 weeks in england with him, maybe a few more in america--so that should be fun. i've included some photos from our perilous journey from liverpool to taunton on thursday. enjoy...
