so i've been feeling emotionally volatile this weekend. ed and jen left for the wedding the i'm not able to go to this morning. sarah brought up the fact that next year could lead to our first separation in three years (which i made a pact with her to ignore until after the spring break trips come because i refuse to cry for the next five months), and i've just been thinking....a lot.
how did i cope?
i put on the trainees, the sweats, and the tee and took a much needed run.
but pretty quickly all of that 'build up' was forgotten, because it was replaced with the realization that i really miss the fresh air of living and running in places like the township and oxford, ohio. a place where there are towering trees lining nearly every street and limited amounts of big city buses--except for maybe your occasional yellow school bus. because, my friends, today with each inhaling breath, it was as though i had placed my lips around the opening of an exhaust pipe and was sucking in some delicious carbon monoxide. it was great....**big eyes and very straight face**
so about two miles in, i called it quits and tried to keep myself from getting sick everywhere. and then i came home.
and this is what i love about living in liverpool. something i never would've had an appreciation for two years ago coming from the suburbs of southwest ohio and all, i have now come to really appreciate--clean, amazing, pure oxygen.

B, there is plenty of clean air and parks in minneapolis ... however we can't even run outside because when i woke up this morning it was 6 degrees (that's -14 C) and the high is a blistering 32 (0 C)!
